Robert & Virginia Fuller Traveling Scholarship Recipient

The purpose of this travel was to evaluate significant architectural works through the lens of the broader perspective that is of the “everyday” person. Dating back to my thesis project in graduate school, I have longed to answer the age-old question, what is good architecture? Traditionally, most of us have viewed design award recipients and buildings featured on the cover of architectural periodicals as examples of the best architecture of the time. However what we think is great architecture, might be misunderstood or
unknown to the general public. The research taught me incredible lessons that served as the basis for the name of Enlight10 Architecture
