Due to the severe slope of an existing driveway, the homeowner at 852 Eagle Drive needed a creative The design solution entails adding a new 4-car tandem garage that is 8’ lower than the main garage to the north of the existing house. Above the garage, a new living space is provided, allowing guests to stay at the property without needing to access the main house. The new living space has a large deck that overlooks a green roof on top of the garage. A new sliding glass door will be installed where the existing garage door is will access a new patio area from the basement of the main house. All the exterior spaces feature dramatic views and are connected with stairs and landings to create a seamless transition when entering and exiting the house.
