The proposed Unity on Wolfensberger is a mixed-use development designed to create a
vibrant community for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD).
Located at 200 E Wolfensberger, Castle Rock, Colorado, this project involves transforming the existing Quality Inn
hotel—a two-story, 32,790-square-foot building—into a space that fosters inclusion and independence.

A total of 71 hotel rooms will be repurposed, creating 8 classrooms, 7 offices, and 24 condominium units. The second floor will offer integrated housing, with both disabled and non-disabled individuals living side by side in the condo units. Residents with disabilities will have access to residential services through Wellspring Community’s Independent Living Program, ensuring they receive the support they need to thrive.
The first floor will house Wellspring’s office space and day program areas, alongside a spacious gathering area and a "living classroom" where participants can learn valuable life skills in a supportive environment. A key design principle for this project is inclusivity—ensuring that all participants, whether living or learning in the building, can access the full range of opportunities without limitation.
